Rooster Land — Dig Site — Hummingbird
The Hummingbird

Hummingbird likes to go and see what there is to see. Mind aflutter, flight of ideas, head in the clouds, trying to keep that childhood wonder. Hummingbird buzzes from place to place, makes every place home for a minute or two. Been around the world, yearning for more. These days zipping through forests and out of the urban fray. Hummingbird likes stories and faces, inanimate objects, all manner of curious critters. I'm at your window, looking in. Get out your binoculars. I can be reached with sugary water, or at hummingbird at rooster dot land.

Nota Bene

"The novel sprang from the letter, the diary, the report of a journey; it felt itself alive in the form of every record of private life. Subjectivity was soon everybody’s subject." – William Gass
